Through direct nominations from industry insiders and cannabis consumers, this series highlights the standout strains and products shaping the regional market. This edition focuses on Washington DC’s most celebrated selections, as chosen by those who know best: the people who use them.

How the Nominations Worked

We opened nominations to the public through an open-call submission process: cannabis enthusiasts, medical patients, and industry professionals from our audience were invited to submit their top picks for the best local products. Our nomination window ran from November 2024 through January 2025.

Participants could nominate up to three products, and were encouraged to provide insights into why these selections stood out from the rest. The result? A candid, consumer-driven look at the products making waves in Washington D.C.’s legal cannabis scene. We compiled the data and selected a handful of products, listed below, that received the most (and most detailed) nominations.
