Cease and desist orders given to four unlicensed D.C. dispensaries
The Alcohol Beverage and Cannabis Administration (ABCA) served cease and desist orders to four unlicensed dispensaries. This is the first serious enforcement action taken by ABCA after warnings were delivered to 49 stores over the past three and a half months.

D.C.’s medical market continues to struggle
D.C.’s medical cannabis sales dropped in May despite more patients and dispensaries. Sales are down 10% from April and 16% from May 2023. This comes as nearly 6,800 patient registrations are set to expire by August.
